Simple 3 part instructional video showing how to change the administrators code, input a user code and setting of the time delay function of the REVO ‘A’ electronic lock.

Today, we’re going to look at changing the administrator code on a REVO A Electronic Lock, fitted to the Securikey Key Cabinet.

First of all enter your code, which is in this instance is 123456, which is the factory-set administrator code. To change the code, enter in your existing administrator code, 123456. Press and hold the Enter key, and the Programming light will come on after 5 seconds. Key 0 followed by Enter. Key in your new administrator code, which in this instance is 654321. Press Enter. Repeat the process: 654321, Enter. The green light in the top corner signifies a successful number change. Your administrator code will now be changed. Please check this number with the cabinet open. The code has now been successfully changed.

Now that we’ve successfully changed the administrator code, we’re going to look at programming a user code. With the door in the open position, key in the new administrator code, which is 654321, and then press and hold Enter. The Programming light will come on within 5 seconds. Key in the number of the user number you wish to use, in this instance number 1 followed by Enter. Entering your new user code, 369852, press Enter. Repeat the process. The green light indicates a successful user code change. That number will now be entered. Try the number at least twice before you lock the cabinet. Our user code has been successfully entered.

Now that we’ve successfully changed the user code, we’re going to look at programming the time delay. The REVO A has a timed delay from 1 minute through to 99. With the door open, key in our new administrator code, which was 654321. Press and hold the Enter key. The Programming light will come on within 5 seconds. Key in 9 followed by Enter, and then the length of time you wish the override the last for. 01 will give you a 1-minute time delay. Press Enter again. The green light indicates a successful change. If you key in your user number now, or your administrator code, the time delay will come into operation.

The hourglass now flashes to tell you it is in Time Delay Mode. This will now flash for 1 minute. Once the time delay has run down, the green light in the center flashes. You can now enter your user code or your administrator code to enter the cabinet. The green light in the top corner indicates that you can enter the cabinet.
